Making light work of cable laying
TOP insulating pipes with anti-friction coating from BTI offer a quick, flexible and sturdy alternative
BTI Befestigungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG has added three anti friction coated variants to its range of insulating pipes. The anti-friction coated pipes are available in a halogen-free or flame-resistant version and for use in concrete. The halogen-free and flame-resistant pipes are classified as 2233 (slight pressure resistance: 320 N / slight resistance to impact: 1 kg / minimum temperature: -15°C / maximum temperature: + 105°C) and the concrete variant as 3323 (medium pressure resistance: 750N / medium resistance to
impact: 2 kg / minimum temperature: -5 °C / maximum temperature: + 105°C). The new insulating pipes now make it much easier to lay individual cables or cabling. The TOP insulating pipes are suitable for all integrated, recess-mounted and screed installations and concrete applications.
In most cases the very low-friction, silicone-free and white dyed inner coating makes a feed tool superfluous. When compared with standard insulating pipes, the fitter feels only a very low level of resistance when feeding the cables even when the job involves several bends. This simplifies the task of laying longer sections, which saves time and greatly cuts costs. The special corrugated geometry also gives the pipe extreme flexibility and a very high level of sturdiness. To sum up, these insulating pipes are ideal for reliably and safely laying cables. They are VDE and DIN EN 61386-1 ; –22 tested.
